What in the "H. E. double toothpicks" is going one with COX Cable every Satureday during college football games, I pixalizes every Saturday when they play different games on 80, 81, and 82. Any other time of the week it is perfectly fine when they have the same shows on 80, 81, and 82. It really pisses me off when I've been on Cox cable for close to 30 years and use their phone, cable, and internet conection that we pay $370 a month for this crap. It also seems that every time we want to watch a movie the same pixalizing happens. All TV's in the house it happens to. Two TV's have the nice converter boxex and 3 have the small basic boxes, and they happen to every box when wathing Big 10 football. My nieghbors are having the same exact problem. It seem to me that Cox does not have enough band wilth to handle 3 different games running at the same time on 80, 81, and 82. ut if they have the same thing running on 80, 81, and 82 everything seems to be fine. Is anyone having the same problem? Thanks. I have called Cox many time to complain that my DVR sound does not match the video. They usually just reboot my cable box and it is ok for a couple hours. Last week I scheduled an appointment for a technician to check out my cable signal. It was confirmed it was fine. Technician replaced DVR with new Cisco DVR box. The problem did not go away. Today I fixed problem. 1. Press Contour button 2. Select settings (icon al the way to the right). 3. Select Device Setting 4.Select Audio 5. Select HDMI Audio Output: 6.Change from Auto Detect (Dolby Digital 5.1) to Expert mode Sound delay instantly fixed. For the past 6 months, my billing statement and what is reflected online as to what I owe do not match. I called CS back in February and thought it had been resolved. This month, I paid my bill based on my statement balance before the due date. I’m gettting automated emails and phone calls that it is overdue and that my service will be suspended. Last month my billing statement reflected a credit. I have called CS several times, each time a “form” was submitted. The issue still has not been corrected. The CS individuals have looked at the statement and the system noting that they are different but no solution has occurred. Who can I talk to get this resolved? Is there any one in the CS organization who can help? I’ve talked to 3 supervisors and none have been able to help. Not sure that this is the forum but I am a new customer. I subscribed with Cox in early July. I live in a luxury apartment at The First National Centef in OKLAHOMA city. Last night we lost service for a few hours. This is not the first time. I've only been a customer for 2 months and have 5-6 interruptions already. Is this common. I've called twice, once reset and a few just waited and restored in the morning. Last night, I had friends over to watch a game and again, no cable or internet. It usually happens at night. I work 6 days from 9 am to 11pm and look forward to coming home and relaxing with the tv on. It's disappointing. Saying goodbye from an account that has paid Cox monthly since 1978. Was it the annual boost in cost due to a "Loyalty Program" expiring? Was it the threats to possibly charge me to have a technician come out to help me regain service? Or was it the lengthy waits to speak to a support person because they were experiencing "unusually heavy volume" of calls? Actually it was because they quoted me a new rate after I dropped their overpriced and sluggish internet service, and later snuck in a $53 overcharge, and refusing to consider waiving it. A work was put I. To bury the cable on the in side of my fence. The person was supposed to come last Friday but never came. I took the lock off the gate so that he was able to complete the job. It serves no function, and even if it did, there is no reason to not let people turn it off if they want to. The TV channel is the screensaver, and there are all kinds of reasons that people might want their TV to stay on even if they are not there to hit a button on the remote. I have requested this easy fix by calling customer service many times with no real response. I see many people have been making this request for years.
