Whose responsibility it is to replace the cable?
We’re in Hillcrest and Cox has been out and they say that the cable has been damaged between their box and my wall. Which of course runs through the walls. I have my cox TV box through my AV receiver. When I adjust the volume, which is on the receiver, the tv picture goes black momentarily, then comes back. It started when I got set up a few days, then another time it didn’t do it, now it’s doing it again. Dreaded XRE-06014
I am trying to watch a specific program I recorded on my dvr. However, I keep getting the error code indicated in the title. It is only happening for this single program. I have done all the ritual actions. E.g. reset modem/gateway, power cycled the dvr box . To no avail. I have read on this forum that this is an on going problem. What to do? Additionally quite often my remote does not work for fast forward, rewind or exit. The stream often times blacks-out no picture or sound. Sometimes it comes back other times I have to get completely out of dvr mode and resume the program, once, twice or even three times. It is quite annoying. I don’t have to mention how much I pay for this service every month, I am sure everyone knows the cost. Given I just want this equipment to work. Oops...Unfortunately this feature is not working.
...our engineers are hard at work to resolve this issue. Anyone else seeing this message on cox cable only? Other streaming services are working, but can't see local channels and cable channels. only hear the audio for the channels and this message stays on the screen. Prime, Netflix, Tubi, Hulu, all working but Cox cable is not. It's been 12 hours this has been down on 11/3/2024. I am new to the area and this is the first rain we have had since arriving. Is this normal that the audio in my TV becomes intermittent or non-existent on some channels because it’s wet? Over 20 years with Cox and the last 12 months have been a continual PIA. No service, partial service, intermediate service, frozen picture service, garbled sound service…..need I go on. For over 10 hours straight today my App tells me there is no problem in my area…Just wish my TV could get that message. I’ve resorted to listening my old radio, lol. Unable to reach a human contact, ridiculous App for attempting contact with appropriate people, few scattered land offices for personal contact etc. why do I continue using Cox? Outages
It is getting to be a pattern with the outages that occur every single day! I have called many times and spent hours of time that I will never get back speaking to your foreign agents that follow a script and have no real insight as to the issue or the resolution.
