Please help me watch Copycat
I have recorded Copycat on my DVR and almost 90% of the time I get error code XRE-03091. I’ve called tech support and they said they have put in 2 tickets now but I haven’t heard anything back from Cox. I don’t understand the problem because it was recorded on 10/24/24 on my DVR boxes If I could purchase the movie, I would but that’s not an option. Please fix my issue! Caller ID has failed to display on the TV on random calls over the last few days. It is set to ON in preferences on the DVR, an Arris AX013ANC which is only about 1 month old. It’s been working properly until a few days ago. After the DVR daily update had finished and an incoming call failed to display on the TV, I unplugged the cable/phone modem, waited 5 minutes, then plugged it back in and waited for the phone to come back on. I then called using my cell phone and the Caller ID did not appear. Later, two test calls did appear for my cell phone and my wife’s. But 2 hours later an incoming robocall did not display. Currently, programming says we are recording the NY Christmas tree lighting, IT IS NOT. It is recording local programming . This is not the first time ( CMA’s for instance ) With today’s technology this makes no sense, and I don’t understand why it continues. We had an internet outage yesterday for about an hour. Ever since I was able to get it back up and running, the tv receiver has not worked, which means none of the tv boxes are working. All of the troubleshooting has been done. Hi, is anyone else experiencing the 'Guide' not working? I keep seeing the error message "Unfortunately, this isn't working. This feature isn't available right now. Please try back later." It's been saying this since yesterday evening. I am having an issue with the time of updates. I was told that updates are scheduled to happen around 2 am. But over the past two weeks the updates are happening as early as 7 pm. I contacted tech support and was told that there was nothing they could do. As an apology for the hassle they gave me a credit for each day the updates occurred early in the evening. I have 2 Cox Contour receivers (1 nonrecording too) with cloud recording. I have been experiencing poor quality video that comes and goes on live and recorded video. I had a tech here for over 3 hours and he could not fix the problem. Signal into the house is fine and he even replaced the router. Upon checking Wifi bands we found out that a neighbor who just go Cox is on the same wifi channel we are on. So it makes sense that we are getting interference. The ability to change the wifi channel is not selectable in the app and now after going through chat support they say they cannot change the channel. Has anyone found a workaround to this? I live in a condo community where Cox is the contracted provider for internet and tv. Service has been consistently unreliable. For the past couple of weeks, tv and internet have had interruptions several times a day. Cox has worked to restore service in the worst instances, but the interruptions aren’t fully resolved, and the fixes often take hours. I’ve had have short tv interruptions (screen freezes and/or disappears) several times today - short but still unacceptable. Can somebody tell me why every day constantly on almost every commercial break they show the same Barnes Firm commercials over and over and over I know it’s coming from Cox Cable they usually use the same two commercials and never change them almost every other commercial break. I have had Cox for tv and internet for 20+ years. The first 10 or so were average. The last 10+ has been horrible. Every year we have issues with the tv or DVR or both and have to have techs come to the house and install”new” updated devices. Routers, DVRs, etc. There is always an excuse as to why. Just today, 1 Dec 2024, our DVR is not playing back recorded show properly. It starts, stops, and freezes about every 1 minute. Really Cox? AGAIN! So, let me guess, we need yet another tech visit and tech refresh? All of this wonderful, reliable service for $200+ a month. Why? Why, I ask myself every year. Hello Verizon, here we come.
