Amazon Prime Video App
We have 2 TV's in the house. one attached to the DVR and the other connected wirelessly. We had a house guest who added his Amazon Profile to the wi-fi TV. and now we are prompted for his PIN, anytime we pull up that app on that TV. Our TV that is connected to the DVR, still has our Amazon profile, but the other TV has his. Does anyone know, how I would reset where the wireless TV is getting its Amazon Prime app profile?7Views0likes0CommentsNot receiving two factor authentication in a time to verify identity.
So, what now? I am trying to access a website that requires 2 factor authentication via email. The verification code expires 10 minutes after it is requested. I requested a verification code and been waiting for an hour and have still not received an email from the website with the verification code. This is beyond frustrating. I don't want to create a non-cox email address just to get two factor authentication emails plus I need to be able to log into my account to change the email address used for for the website I'm trying to access. I have been a Cox costumer for over 10 years and not happy at all. Every time I try to link my tv provider subscription to the ESPN and NBA app it tells me that “ We are having technical difficulties and to please try again later”. I am able to link my tv provider subscription through the Safari and Google browser but that’s it . The apps for some reason is the only time I am seeing that message about the technical difficulties. I am using a iPhone 14pro, I’ve checked my software , uninstalled and reinstalled the apps, even called apple to make sure it wasn’t my phone and they ran diagnostic tests and everything passed . I even tried on my wife’s iPhone 13pro and she is getting the same message . So that’s 2 different devices using the same log in getting the same results. I seen on here that other people are getting the same message I am but only she the try to log into the Cox app but fortunately I am not having that issue with the Cox app as I am able to log in fine . I believe that it’s the Cox login portal that is causing this problem. I’ve literally done everything that I possibly could think of to solve this problem so if anyone has any advice please feel free to reply back. We recently moved from another town and had our Cox service transferred. We moved to a brand new house, which meant we had to have Cox come out and do the install. The only thing that changed is we are on fiber optic now that goes into a nokia box then a Cat 5 cable to the wifi router. The old house had the old coax cable that pugged in to the same wifi router. The Panoramic app worked at our old house, but since we moved to the new house, it hasn't worked at all. I have reached out to Cox multiple times and it still does not work. We have deleted and re-installed the app. We have changed our password. We have done a factory reset on our modem. We have followed other suggestions in this community forum and still nothing. It does not recognize our devices on the manage wifi. I would like the features to be restored as we have kids in the house and it was a tremendous help at our last place. Can't delete emails...am at max/2gb....one cox Customer service rep hung up on me...second call said that Cox is aware of the "can not delete" problem and is working issue (at least he knew there was a problem) ..no ETA nor did they know when the problem started...WTF...need my wife to migrate to gmail like I have so I can save couple hundred per $/month for crappy service and move to verizon for intenet and utube for TV.17Views0likes1CommentCan't log into Cox email from any mobile app
Until recently (about 2 months ago) I could use my Android mail app to access my Cox email. Now I cannot receive email from ANY mobile app - on my Android Samsung S9, Outlook on my PC, or my iPad email app. My wife and I have spent around six hours with about five Cox customer representatives until they give up and refer us to Samsung. They - Samsung- rudely refer us back to Cox (after another hour). The error messages we get vary, from password invalid (we have changed the password several times under Cox supervision) to Change the permission settings on the Cox internet webmail site. (There aren't any). We can receive and send email from the Cox webmail URL site. This is an important email address and we really need it to work. I was going to do a factory reset on the phone, thinking that some other app is interfering, but since it won't work from any device app, I thought it best to see if anyone else has this issue before I spend another half day with this drill?2KViews0likes3CommentsWebmail: "Unexpected Internal Error" - Try Again!
When I try to access my Cox e-mail using the Webmail link (myemail.cox.net), I get the following error with a big red bar: "There Was an Unexpected Internal Error. Please Try Again". But, I cant ry 100 times and it still won't work. It may work several hours later. Used to happen once in a while, but now all the time. I tried calling Cox Customer Service -but they were clueless.
