Cox Modem and report access

Question

Cox is insisting I use their modem because it is designed for GigaBlast.&nbsp;
Does anyone know who makes their modems, what chipset are they using? Also, would I be able to access the logs and connection status (packet/power/db) to verify it fixes my issues?

what model is it?&nbsp; they only require you get the emta phone or panoramic modem from them.

They havent said yet. I have Gigablast so I would assume something compatible with that, I would not want there router.&nbsp;

did you order&nbsp;panoramic or phone?&nbsp; many retail modems also support gigablast

I have a Motorola MB8600 modem, the service rep said theirs is better because it was designed for gigablast internet. I just wanted more information on their modem for when the service tech comes out. My main concern is, can error logs be accessed and can I see the connection status.&nbsp;
