Yes, this is an issue for the last 4 weeks. I have had two technicians out to check all equipment etc... and still happens. I have 6 tv's with various types of boxes and happens on all. Tech told me Cox is aware of Channels 27 56 and 61 along with a few others. Problem is when I called to have my bill adjusted for known issues to channels that I am paying for they said they do not have in the records that this is a known issue..... Why - because they need to refund customers who are paying for these channels that do not work!!!!

Calling cox is a HUGE headache.....no one can fix the issue and getting a refund?? That’s been a headache too

This has been happening to my ESPN for at least 2 months now. I can’t enjoy my Monday Night Football because of this issue. Frustrating.

Sharon, nothing to do with cables, connections, accounts. Local san Diego content comes thru fine but your feed from espn is the problem.

I have the same problem in Florida. Cox, espn choppy for live events, sound is fine and commercials are fine. Using contour.

Cox fix anything? Ha! My ESPN still freezes up in Vegas so it’s a cox problem all over. They’ve sent technician out. Checked connections etc. still nothing. Over priced, crappy products.

I have been experiencing this for several weeks now as well. ESPN coverage of NFL Football is painful to watch due to the stopping and starting of the picture. Jerky? Glitchy? whatever you want to call it, it **. Happens on ALL my TV's, each with its own box. ONLY ESPN channels seem to have this issue. COX please get your act together and stop acting like its some isolated incident.

I have been experiencing the same problem. This is now going into the third month. Per Cox, they are working on it and it will be fixed as soon as possible. After so long a time, I think it is obvious that Cox either has no intention of fixing the problem or they don't have the employees capable of fixing the problem. They say it is a problem with their Contour 2 boxes. My guess is if these boxes are obsolete, they do not want to absorb the expense of replacing all the boxes with ones that actually work. After all, it's all about the Benjamin's.

I've also had this problem for the last 2-3 months. If you call COX, they act like they have no idea and go through the same litany of dumb questions...cable screwed in tight, do you use a splitter, blah, blah, blah. I haven't touched a thing, and now my ESPN freezes all the time...this is obviously a COX feed issue.

We continue [for months] to have the same problem with ABC and ESPN football coverage (i.e. ABC/Disney owned channels). This only happens during live action. To include today. Did anyone get resolution?
Of note, when I dealt with the online help...the Cox rep fell offline as soon as we got to the point of Cox restarting the cable box. The reset did not work. Super frustrating.
