I keep a Cox email account open to monitor alerts via my iPhone X and iPad Pro2 but not in Outlook on my pcs.
Lately, I have been inclined to close that email account because for several weeks I am flooded with SPAM.
Is there a fix for this by Cox or a solution that I missed?
wow i thought it was just me, i have had cox for almost 20 years and i have never had such bad spam every single day, usually 3 or 4 at a time and i forward them to cox and they still come back.
i got online every morning and mark the emails as spam and i will get another 3 or 4 in the afternoon. i also forward to cox spam and they sill come back. how do i create a filter?
Hi Becky, I can tell you I have followed these exact rules per another Cox Support post and they DO NOT WORK.
Look, we pay Cox alot of money for internet that includes email service that we all know now that all of us rely on for daily life, bill payments, doctor notices, bank details and other critical daily functions. When we are INTERRUPTED CONSTANTLY all day and night with RIDICULOUS amounts of Spam it affects our entire life.
Cox MUST find a PERMANENT SOLUTION and one quickly.
Enough of this "we are aware of the spam problem and are working on it"
You are a huge company with tremendous resources. Please, without further delay, get a team on this with TOP PRIORITY!
I even asked one of the moderators to have someone from management respond to our requests but never received a response. I worked in customer service most of my adult life and have never experienced this kind of response or lack of response as it was in my case and countless others who are very upset with the Cox email situation. Good Luck. (Chase)
