Internet out for over 4 days?

My Internet has been out for almost 4 days, I've reset my router, factory reset it and nothing. The best cox can say is "schedule an in home technician visit"?  Online says there's no outage but based on the number of posts about the Internet being down I'm doubting it. Is everyone else as frustrated?

    I'm sorry to hear you've been without service this long. It sounds like you've done quite a bit of troubleshooting already. A tech may be the next best step.
