- GPWNew Contributor IIII changed the SAP button to ON. Preferred SAP language is set to English… I don't believe this is an SAP problem because all other programming on ALL channels is in English. It's only the NBA on ABC games!! I have the same problem on multiple devices (Laptop running Windows 10, iPhone 7 running iOS 11, and Samsung tablet running Android 7.0.

GPW,
Do you experience this issue on every NBA game that comes on or does this happen on any other program? Would you send us an email the next time this issue happens to cox.help@cox.com with your full name & address so we can check to see what may be causing this issue for you? Is this only happening on the Contour app or does it happen on the TV as well? We would like to check both to see what the issue may be.
- GPWNew Contributor IIIIf you would read my previous posts you would see I have already answered these questions several times.... 1. The issue is only on the NBA games on ABC. NO OTHER PROGRAMMING. All other channels work properly. Period. 2. The issue is only on the Contour App. It DOES NOT HAPPEN over the air (antenna) or cable TV feed (Contour & Digital boxes). 3. I have the same problem on multiple devices (Laptop running Windows 10, iPhone 7 running iOS 11, and Samsung tablet running Android 7.0.) 4. Switching SAP doesn't help. Still get the game in Spanish. Closed captions are in English. Will be happy to email you when I see it again. Just look at the television schedule for Oklahoma City and see with the next NBA game will be broadcast on ABC.
- GPWNew Contributor IIII was asked to email when this issue started again. I'm watching the Oklahoma City vs Golden State basketball game on ABC (Cox 705). The audio is in Spanish again. Please refer to Cox trouble ticket #6118788 or the Cox App Forum for the history of this item. This problem was first reported on Jan 20 and has persisted for every other NBA game broadcast on ABC!!!

@GPW,
This was a known issue last night (2/24) in your area. I am truly sorry that you had to experience this issue.

- GPWNew Contributor IIISunday has arrived and the NBA game on ABC is STILL IN SPANISH!! This problem has persisted since I first reported it on Jan 20. For weeks every customer service tech was convinced it was as setting on my systems. Now that others are reporting the same problem, WHEN WILL IT BE FIXED!!

Hi there, to continue troubleshooting this matter, please send an email to cox.help@cox.com or send a Facebook private message or a Twitter DM and include a link to this thread. Thanks,
- GPWNew Contributor IIII've just received an email message from one of your "Social Media Support Specialists" named Tiffany R. She tells me "We have received an update back that they believe this maybe an individual issue. Can you ensure that your SAP (Secondary Audio) is turned off? This can be done by a button on some remotes or through the cable box settings."............... REALLY?! CABLE BOX SETTINGS! My cable TV is working perfectly. The problem is with the CONTOUR APP. Is this so hard to understand??? SAP settings were the first thing we looked at!!!!
- GPWNew Contributor IIIJust received an email from another "Social Media Support Specialist" named Chris W. asking me to reinstall the Contour App! PLEASE READ THE HISTORY OF THIS ISSUE BEFORE YOU EMAIL ME AGAIN!!! I've already reinstalled the app! Here are the other facts: .
- GPWNew Contributor IIIJust received this email from Social Media Support Specialist, Latitia: "Thank you for your patience while I looked into how we might assist in this issue further. I regret we would need you to call in the next time this occurs, as this is the only way we can have someone troubleshoot the issue locally and in real time. As you know, should we submit the request we can not guarantee it will be reviewed immediately, for our submissions carry a possible 72 business hour response time. I know this isn't the answer you were looking to hear, and when/if it happens please try to call in to our technical support as soon as possible. Thank you again for reaching out to the Social Media Group. Should you have any other questions or concerns, my team is available 24/7." The next NBA game scheduled on ABC is Saturday at 7:30pm Central. Schedule someone to call me or give me a direct number to call to troubleshoot. I've tried calling technical support and I always get the same runaround... Unless there is someone in my local market which familiar with the problem which can be contacted directly, IT'S A WASTE OF MY TIME AND YOURS. They can't duplicate the problem cause they are outside the Oklahoma city market, the want me to reinstall the Contour App, want me to reboot my computer, modem, router, etc, or they want me to flip the settings on SAP. This problem has persisted since the end of January. If you can't find a resolution I'm going to start asking for refunds on my bill. I understand this situation is different than most you deal with. A problem you a can predict on a time schedule… but it seems that someone, somewhere should be able to figure this out!!! With the NBA playoffs coming soon, there are more and more games broadcast on ABC. Hope we're not still having this conversation then.
