Issues with viewing PDF billing statements
Hello, I'm trying to download some of my monthly statements for expense reports. It seems as though every other statement isn't working. The ones that work have an "id" populated in the URL. I can click on the View bill (PDF) link and open them. https://www.cox.com/ibill/api/pdf-statement-details?id=poiupupohiBGOLHIGUFGIdndn The ones that don't work don't have anything in the query string for the id. When I click on the link I get the following error: "We're unable to display your PDF statement at this time. Please try again or chat with us for quick support." https://www.cox.com/ibill/api/pdf-statement-details?id= Is there a way the dev team can fix this?54Views0likes1CommentBEWARE of Cox swindling more money out of you.
My credit card was canceled due to fraud. I quickly switched numbers on my account and my bill was paid with the correct card on time. It was not late. I was charged a $30 returned payment fee. This is nonsense. There is no returned payment fee incurred from the financial institution when a credit card is canceled or expired. This charge on my account is ridiculous. Of course if you try to talk with customer service and its not about how you want to add products or spend more money with them the call wait time is ridiculous and the live chat online conveniently doesn't work/is buggy. Such an awful company with retched customer service. My building has free wifi and its sketchy but worth cancelling my account. Good riddance.1.1KViews3likes6CommentsFiber ONT options
My home is connected through fiber, and I have my own router that I am using. Service has been good so far, but I am looking for an option. My bill is showing that I am paying $14 for Panoramic Wifi Gateway Rental, which supposedly includes the gateway, app, security perks, etc. However I never received any of that equipment (natually because I'm using my own), and the apps say my account is not active for the other things. So I called Cox - and they said that the $14 charge is simply for the ONT. Seems kinda weird to charge for a gateway rental when its not for a gateway, but whatever. First question is - am I really supposed to be paying a rental fee for the ONT device? Anyone else paying this? Second question is - Is there a list anywhere of Cox compatible ONTs out there for if I wanted to get my own to avoid this monthly charge if thats really what it is?2.2KViews0likes12CommentsWhy the bill increase for January?
Received my bill statement today only to find it had an increased rate from every month I had paid previously. The bill explanation mentioned that it might be different and to check news from Cox or the Bill Messenger Center for details but I can’t find any explanation anywhere. No I’m not on some discount, new customer plan before anyone asks. Can someone explain this to me or link me to an actual explanation?2KViews0likes3CommentsCox has predatory payment fees.
Had an issue where my card got stolen, so my auto-pay failed. Got slapped with a $30 fee for a returned payment. Regular bill is $83.99/month. Pretty f'ing ridiculous to charge almost a 50% fee for returned payment. Also, it makes no sense. If someone has issues with their income, this fee makes it even harder on them, ***.501Views0likes1CommentRefund my $200.40 ASAP
I called Cox to report that my internet is not working after trying so many times to do it by myself. Cox rep was pushing to dispatch a Cox Pro to fix the issue. He mentioned that if its Cox failure, Cox will take care of the charge which was $75. Cox Tech showed up next day, and after several attempt. He realized that its a Cox problem and he needs to do some wiring check (Per his saying). He did some wiring adjustment outside my home, later he pushed again to have their rental modem. The excuse was that Cox modem has dual band 2.4 and 5Ghz, and mine is only 2.4Ghz. And he mentioned that it will be free of charge for the next 10 days if I'm willing to return it. I had a feeling that there is something going on so I returned it next day, and Cox is charged me $0.40 for one day rental !!!!!!! And by the way, my modem works just perfectly up to this moment I'm writing this paragraph. Now, here is the big dilemma, first of all, per your technician, there was a loose connection outside my home so since it's outside my home, logically I'm not liable to it which means it's something that Cox should take care of it. Otherwise you should charge me for a connection issue that happens in Mars !!!! And second, I was told that the charge of the tech is $75, for God sake, how come the $75 become $200 !!!!!!!!! Be careful of Cox tech support, all I was told is fake, tech rep was lying about the $75 charge, and Cox tech blamed me for the fault, though he spent most of the time outside our building doing something I have no clue about. And worse than that, I was told that the their modem is free for the first ten days...... Please train your crew very well and let them sue they don't push or say none sense things, and keep in mind that there are tons of internet providers looking for customers. DO NOT PLAY THESE GAMES OR IT WILL BE MY PLEASURE TO SUE COX, REFUND MY $200.40 ASAP.1.2KViews0likes1CommentCharged Twice?
Last month I realized that I was not charged for my bill. I am enrolled in Easy Pay so I thought it was kinda strange since this has never happened before. I then thought that it was probably due to the fact that my due date was close to President's Day so I assumed the payment would go through at a later date. However, today is my due date and I was charged four times the regular amount that I usually pay. I have Straight Up Internet which is $50 a month, so because my payment didn't go through in February I was expecting to be charged double ($100, for last month and this month), but they ended up charging me $200. And I highly doubt that this double charge will go towards any future bills.2.2KViews0likes1CommentPointless Fee for moving?
So, let me get this straight. I already have service with you guys. I moved to a new place. Already wired and ready to go. I go through the "Move my Service" process, choose date, confirm. I take my current existing modem, plug it in. Everything works, a 5 second process. (maybe 6 or 7, twisting the coax to the wall was a lot of twisting!) I get charged a $20 "Internet Self Activation Kit" Fee. Seriously? I didn't get no Self Activation Kit (not like I needed it in the first place, already had my own modem from my ALREADY CURRENT ACTIVE service). No Technician had to come and turn on the service at the pole or anything (service has been setup and active here). I only plugged the wire in to the wall, powered on the modem, and was on the way.2KViews1like1Comment
