can't connect to contour

Windows 7 - Chrome browser

I try "Watch TV Online" links and get:

This site can’t be reached watchtv.cox.com took too long to respond.
Try:

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_TIMED_OUT

ALL other URLs are reachable.

Permissions somewhere?  COX? Windows7? Chrome?

  • Hi bethjim, not only is it recommended to clear cookies and cache on your web browser, but I would also suggest trying other web browsers to see if you receive different results. Here is a link that lists the system requirements for our Contour service, http://bit.ly/2NBq198. Per the article, this requires the following:

    IE9 or higher
    Microsoft Edge
    Chrome 31 or higher
    Firefox 24 or higher
    Safari 10
