Hi Coxprblms and CurtB,
We understand it is highly inconvenient to experience an outage. The service is offer is cable-based. When there is not a cable signal, the equipment will not communicate with the recorded data or live programming. I am hopeful that as a result of feedback like yours, this will change in the near future.
