- BeckyModeratorHi Baseball Nut, I'm wondering if this might be an HDMI handshake issue. Is the Contour 2 receiver connected directly to the TV with an HDMI cord? Have you tried a different HDMI cord? Make sure that the HDMI cable fits securely in its port and that there are no sharp bends in the cable. The next time this happens, change the TV Input setting, wait for at least 10 seconds, and then switch back to the correct HDMI input setting. If what's happening is due to an HDMI handshake issue, switching inputs in this manner is often enough to reestablish a good HDMI handshake. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator
