Sick of Cox!

Cox is a sick company.  I am sick of their internet service.  In Virginia Beach there is ALWAYS outages.  Cox never gives you warning via of email that service is down.  I was taking an online certification exam when the outage at 3:30 pm today 8/28/21 went out.  I pay alot of money for their internet service and in VB they have loads of outages!  Who regulates good customer service and how can Cox remedy this bas service?  I never have down service with AT&T cellular and probably won't with their internet service.  Sorry Cox...your number has run out!  I'm done with you.  Find some other suckers!

  • Hi Roxierocktech, I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing any outages in your area and I know how frustrating it can be when services are down. You may sign in on your Cox account at and update your contact preferences to receiver area status messages including text messages. You may install the Cox App for updates (the app is available through the Apple Store or GooglePlay): We are here 24/7. The app does require the primary account holder to log in. Is there anything else I can help with?

    If it makes you feel any better the same outages (most go unreported) occur in both the AZ and LA markets too.
