I have seen posts regarding the same spam messages that I get everyday! Why can't COX block the messages?

Cox farmed-out its email service to a 3rd party. In the old days, Cox would have shut down the spammers in 48 hours or less. Cox has said that it considers email to be a "free service" which seems to mean that email doesn't get much support.
