Internet reliability issues: Slow uploads 0.1mbps

I noticed earlier that upload seemed quite unstable.  I ran a few tests and the first result was less than 2mbps, and the second was 0.1mbps.  This is on a gigabit plan and a brand new cable modem (SB8200 purchased on April 2020).

I already had a tech come out and connect my modem directly to the cable drop.  Althought things did get better for a brief moment, it looks like the line still has intermitten issues and the cable modem is now complaining about the OFDM channel as seen below:

  • Cox wen tout last night in my area and its now out again 07/28/22 i work from home have had this job for 5 years i cant be missing work noticed on down detector that most of the country is out at the moment

      Hi Jameswyatt73521. The most accurate way to determine if there is an outage in your area is to use the Cox app via any mobile device. We don't send any information about outages to any website other than our own.
