It should during the actual test. Try one - I'd do it multiple times - and see if you see sudden decreases in speed.
So Im not able to get an end result of anything abnormal however I can clearly see fluctuation via the meter.
This could be caused by so many things - bad equipment, bad wiring, too many users in the area. How are you connected to the Cox modem? If wireless, can you try wired? Grasping at straws here; this is all stuff any competent tech should have already tried/suggested.
Just finished talking to support and they are sending another tech person tomorrow gonna be sure all these things are checked and Im connected via Ethernet however all devices regardless of connection type have this issue so im fairly certain it has something to do with the modem or the wire that connects the modem to under the house.
