OK, this has been a problem for over a year. Have had many techs come out, made many calls, replaced box, cables, amp, etc. Why can't they fix it? Happens every single day. Am seriously thinking of breaking my 25 years+ relationship with Cox.
Same problem here. Cox keeps resetting the receiver with no fix
As per Comcast, it seems to be a firmware issue on the X1 platform. Something to do with the maximum resolution being set and that causing a problem. The link below is for Comcast, but it's the same platform, so should be relevant.
