I received several calls asking to speak to my wife. They say the router is not accepting updates and they need to check settings.
The call is from Kenner, LA 504-305-4048. Is it legitimate?
Doesn't look legit to me. First, the number isn't a Cox number. Second, there are no settings to check when it comes to firmware updates. All that is ISP controlled. Do you even have a Panoramic gateway?
(504) 305 numbers are all assigned to Comcast IP Phone LLC, Airus Inc and Sprint Spectrum. Not Cox.
