Voice Tools Settings Issues
The Voice Mail toggle is changed to OFF. After a lengthy processing delay, attempts to turn it ON fail with the following Voice Tools error message: "Your Voice Mail request cannot be completed. Please try again". Clicking Spam Blocker and changing all Spam Risks to something other than "Send to Voicemail" will allow the Voice Mail toggle to be changed to ON. However, after collapsing and expanding Settings again, the Voice Mail toggle is changed back to OFF, and the Spam Blocker settings are back to values from before they were changed. Voice Tools Settings do not save. The only noticeable difference in the Voice Tools page is a new "Blocked" tab in Call History. I have no idea if it does anything because clicking it displays "0 matching results found". It took months for Call History issues to be mostly fixed. Why did Cox change something else just to break it too? With the sale of Cox, these issues may never be fixed. Call History Update
Call records were displayed in the All tab for a few hours on 01/14/2025, then disappeared again and haven't been seen since. For call records to be available after a month-long outage and then be removed again would have required someone at Cox to have done something to cause it. Good morning. I am currently exploring options here in regards to both my parents Cox Account and my account. What we are trying to do right is we are trying to figure out if theirs is a way to have so when we Add on my landline to my parents account, we have been running into issues where Cox would not update the number so it shows up my name as the caller id whenever I call someone, instead what they would do is they would put the caller id as the primary holder on the account. And we are wanting to also disable the TV caller id on their phone line so I’m the only one that can use tv caller id on line. If anyone can help me out here and guide me in the right direction. I set Spam? blocker to block all (high, medium, & low) which is working. Thank-you. My call history shows that of the 32 robocalls received in the last 30 days, 21 were blocked. And for some reason, the total calls have dropped 62%, from 85 a month last year.
