My internet connection keeps dropping all day. I had a tech come out but there was no change. I bought a new modem and a new router. Same result. When calling on the phone the modem kept restarting on its own. She said it was a signal problem. I am so annoyed. She wants the tech to come out again. This has been happening for a month now.
First, what model modem and router do you have? Second, what did the first tech. do? Did he/she check the coaxial wiring in the house and take a reading at the pole? If not I agree probably need tech. back out.
Current Brand: ARRIS Model: CM8200A modem. I bought this one and it just kept restarting Arris-Surfboard s33. I have two routers the Nighthawk r7000. I am using the Asus ax3000 dua-band wifi 6. He check in my houses and at the back of my houses. He did not check any poles.
