Fiber fix

  • My Samsung QLED 4K lost its best feature 4 K LITE when cox switched my coaxial to fiber optic ,Samsung said fiber optics should use Ethernet port.does anyone have a fix

    Fiber(FTTP) does use ethernet from the optical network terminal(ONT) to the router. From the router to the TV box(assuming you have wireless IPTV boxes) is wifi, same as coaxial(HFC).You could run ethernet from the router to the box if you want to, but not sure what that has to do with a feature on your TV,

    What is 4K lite? I googled it and couldn't find anything relevant. What model TV do you have? I looked in the manual for the QN85A and didn't find any mention of such a feature. What does it do?
