Cox hasn't lowered the upload speeds to get you to pay more, that is inaccurate.

it feels like that some times. cause they dont seem to care about people that would rather have more upload. hell i would rather have 100mbps upload and they can drop that so called 1 gig to 500 and ill pay the same price.. lmao

I am sorry that you have experienced speed and internet issues recently. We continue to expand our fiber network across all of our markets. Once fiber is available in your area, You would be able to receive symmetric speeds. I have provided some steps that you can take to help diagnose and resolve the speed issues on your thread at forums.cox.com/.../why-does-it-seem-cox-does-not-care-about-upload-speeds. Please let us know how it goes.

The best way to get higher upload speeds is to get a fiber connection. I know, not available in many areas, but the data plans are pretty clear about expectations. Gigablast gets a gig down, and 30mbps up, thats the plan. Its the highest plan available without fiber. Most people understand that when they sign up, some dont.
