Some devices can’t connect to my panoramic wifi gateway but some can

Hello, not sure what to do here. Everything was fine last night, but this morning when I woke up, my phone wouldn’t connect to my home wifi. I tried to reconnect and it said “incorrect password” so I ended up resetting the wifi password. 

under the new password, I put in the details and still said incorrect password. I reset my phone; same message. Reset the gateway. Same message. Forgot the device from my phone, tried again and same incorrect password message. I tried other devices. My laptop connects, Amazon Alexa connects. My Bluetooth lights connect, but my Xbox does not connect. It also gives the same message. 

not sure what to do here. I called support and they also don’t know what the problem is. Can someone give me any assistance please? Thank you!

      My Samsung frame tv, my iPhone and MacBook Air connect. My TCL Roku tv, my 10 year old Samsung and my Vizio with Roku streaming stick don’t connect. Spent an hour on the phone with Cox, who said they couldn’t fix it, and hour with Roku who couldn’t fix it and I now have 3 TVs with no connectivity. Ridiculous.

        amybesq, I am sorry you're having issues connecting your devices. Have you already tried resetting the gateway to factory settings?

    Is it a Iphone? If so, try disabling private wifi addresses. See here.

    Also, are you using a Panoramic gateway? If so, try turning it off and make sure your wifi network goes away. If not, it might be someone near by who used your network name(SSID) for their router. Maybe some devices are trying to connect to THAT network, which has a different password.

    Last, make sure you aren't connecting to "CoxWifi" network. That is Cox's hotspot which is different then the private wifi you would usually connect to.

    Another note that may or may not apply in your case..... sometimes if you are typing on an iphone / apple devices (not sure about android but presumably similar) the autocomplete will add a space after the word which in my case i have autocomplete set up for my name so i can type 3 letters and have the rest fill in automatically and my username is often initiallastname so i have to make sure to delete the space it adds in (anticipating that there will be more words to follow) when signing in to certain sites ... Imagine you might have solved this issue already but maybe not or maybe someone else may benefit..
