I'm glad we're all able to band together like this! I felt like I was going crazy for a few weeks there! I hope your tech visit goes well!
I had a tech visit to my place on Sunday. He seemed like a nice guy, and I don't blame him for any of this. But anyways, he replaced the cables on the side of my house and in the green box in the neighbor's back yard, even though he said it probably wouldn't fix anything. It didn't, unsurprisingly. I see no point in taking this further, as no one else seems to be having success. I am going to file an FCC complaint and switch to T-Mobile, at least until the node is fixed. I just need to know when that is going to happen. Any Cox people want to tell me?

According to the Standarche, it is supposed to be October. It would be nice to get a definitive answer here though as well. I don't think anyone who works from home will be able to do anything for the next eight months if it really is October.

Going out on a limb...but I'm guessing Cox will say you need to buy a new modem from them and upgrade to Gigablast instead

Honestly, I am not too hopeful that anything will fix judging by the posts in this thread. Seeing as well all have the same zip code and the technicians were unable to fix your problem. I'll post an update though when the technician comes tommorow.

Update:
The Cox technician found packet loss on my tap so, there is a maintenance ticket now. Although he said the node is just overloaded as well. I doubt the maintenance ticket will fix our node problem in our zip but I hope it helps a bit.
