Technical assistance isn't available for external parties trying to send email to cox.net addresses. To resolve the error message you're receiving you'll need to contact the technical support for your mail server so they can make the necessary adjustments. Once the remote server is compliant with our email guidelines the error should stop.

I have been in contact with my host, again for over a month. Nobody seems to be able to resolve this. Is there a specific doc w/ said guidelines?
- ChrisL4 years agoFormer ModeratorIf you're on a shared hosting provider resource you may have little recourse to address this issue. What commonly happens in such a circumstance is you have other customers on the same resource also using email which may be opening connections to our mail server. Other email/spam problems are common on shared hosting resources such as if another customer on the same server is flagged for spamming the server gets flagged which means nobody using the same server would be able to send again until the cooling off period has expired. If email is mission critical to whatever application your running on your host the best options may be to explore some kind of dedicated or virtual hosting solutions where you have exclusive use of said resource.
