You wouldn't make that bet because there are no network settings, selections or options in the cable-box version of Contour.
yes there are network settings but not what's required to do what what the op needs.

OP wouldn't have used the Contour remote to configure WiFi for a TV because the cable-box version of Contour doesn't have network settings. From what you've written, you have the Wireless 4K Contour Steam Player. This is an entirely different platform...hence it's name.

Your suggestion was more of an assumption than a solution. For example, if I said, "My car won't start." You say, "Try using its key." Your "solution" only begs the question: What do you think I was using to start my car?
