Got assigned new IP address with missing/bad geolocation info
Help! I activated a new cable modem, and got assigned a new IP address in this range 72.217.*. Geo-fenced services like YouTube TV report they can't find my location, and disable access to local TV channels.
Any ideas on how I can get this fixed? I've talked to 3 different Cox support members, and no one knows how to resolve this issue, other than suggesting that my cable modem might be broken, or to subscribe to Cox Complete Care.
For now, I've reverted to my old cable modem which got assigned an IP in a different range (68.225.*), and everything is working fine again.
