Cox is absolute garbage!

Absolutely without a doubt pissed the ***k off! 3 outages in the last week alone! My one day off and want to watch tv! Paying over $170 just for the privilege of having wifi. Cox does NOT care about their customers! Try using the chat to be offered and offended of their so called compensation of $17.63 off my bill!!! Are you freaking kidding me?! Your company is a freaking joke! Taking advantage of the hard-working people to fill your pockets and giving us **bleep** internet! When there's better wifi available in my town, I will be dropping this company's internet where it belongs, in the trash!

  • Hi mjcotty5. We apologize for any interruptions that you've experience with your service. We understand that outages are never fun. We try our best to resolve trouble as quickly as we can. Credits are based on the amount that you pay per day for service.  Again, we apologize for the any inconvenience this outage may have caused you.

So are you going to pro rate our cost as we are paying upfront and we are living without internet.

Treforosie, we provide service credits for known posted outages. They will appear on your next month's statement as a credit with the affected dates. If we can help you with concerns regarding a service outage, please email us anytime at cox.help@cox.com.

First off, 170$ a month is less than 6$ a day. If you are in an outage, and they offered you 17.63, smile and shut it.

Second, WiFi is a function of a wireless router, not Cox Cable. You may be RENTING their Pano modem, and if that's the issue, go BUY your OWN modem and router, and that way Cox is responsible for providing you a signal to the modem, and if you need help with WiFi, you can pay separately for that, since YOU would own the equipment, and be responsible for setting it up and using it.

I have had Cox internet in my home for over 25 years, and I have been more than satisfied with product, and their service. MAYBE you should try being nice, and that way someone may WANT to help you.
