Gigablast Poor Download Speeds

    Thank you for responding! I'm pretty novice here so I didn't really follow the discussion on the link, but I think its saying that the SB6183 prioritizes higher SNRs. So, while the SB6183 biases to high frequencies, it will pull in lower frequencies as needed if the SNRs are comparatively higher until all 32 channels are bound?

      Contact Arris and here are the results. Going back to Cox:

      We already received and checked the file your sent to us, this device work with 32 downstream channels to reach 1 Gbps speed, however, your internet provider is pushing out 33 channels, which is not good,  this will negatively affect the overall performance of the unit, Also, we recommend to have the downstream power levels as closest as zero to have a better performance.

      Upstream channels are out of range, power levels must be in between 45 to 51. Yours are not reaching the minimum. We do suggest you to perform a factory reset on your SB8200, then, contact your internet service provider to adjust the cable levels.
