Honestly, this is not getting enough attention. It is a widespread issue throughout San Diego for Cox customers. We would appreciate much more transparency on how this is being solved. It has been almost 3 weeks of this issue where I can't play from the time I get home from work until 11pm. If this keeps up, I will DEFINITELY be switching my ISP to one of your competitors as even if the issue doesn't lie on your side, it is exclusive to Cox and no one else. I have had this internet with you guys for months and it used to be fine so clearly there is something that can be done to remedy the problem.
Couldn't agree more. I've been stuck with this problem for months. It's so maddening. Wasn't there before (around Net Neutrality repeal date) and isn't present if I remove COX from the connection (hotspot or private vpn). Its SO apparent this is an issue with their network and they've done nothing productive yet. They say they've reviewed stuff, but the truth is it hasn't helped the situation at all. Clearly they need to go back to the drawing board - suggesting they work with customers as they diagnose the problem. I would advise you to file an FCC complaint, as I and many others have done.
