Forum Discussion
Hi everyone, we believe the issue impacting Fortnite should now be resolved. Please let us know if you continue to have issues during peak hours.

What exactly do you mean? Please explain. Did you do something to the way Cox internet interacts with the Fortnite servers? I live in San Diego and ironically I just started having extreme packet loss and constant ping/lag spikes in Fortnite making the game unplayable about 5 days ago which has led me to find this thread. The game has been unplayable. Please read my post below. Thanks.

How was this resolved? Live in Orange County, CA and have been experiencing these issues for months. Cox techs come to our house almost every day. At this point thinking it's a utilization issue and need node split. If Fortnite issue is really resolved, then what could it be other than utilization? Cables, modem, and router have all been checked (and even replaced just in case). And we're hardwired, so it isn't a wifi issue.
