Constant internet outages.

I'm south Orange County. As of late we've been getting internet outages at least once a week. Often times more. Cox shows they know about the outage. Why now? It's becoming problematic with work and school being done online. No offer of compensation for the lost day or time from cox. 

It seems to me there is a larger problem that isn't being correctly dealt with. How do I go about getting some real action by cox to make sure my internet is consistently working? Can I escalate my issue to someone or some department at Cox?
