It looks like a recent update to the Cox Panoramic WiFi Application is no longer compatible with many smartphones out there.

    I guess Cox never mastered scalability, huh?

    Why not use your browser to makes changes to your WiFi instead?

It is 3 years old, but running Android 6.0.1, which seems like it should not be a problem.

If the software on the server had changed or the app had changed, it may be a security component within Android.  I agree with widermouthopen & jonathanj to update your OS.
