Panoramic Wi-Fi Gateway getting very Hot
Does anyone out there have a Cox Panorama Modem, check to see if it gets Hot, I mean mine is at 107.7 degrees and it was at 108.2 degrees, I just unplugged after calling Cox Communication to report a pending fire hazard, and was told that I needed to upgrade my service to get a new modem. I reported it to Product Safety Commission and canceled my service, again check the modem see if its hotter than it should be,12Views0likes0CommentsSince the transition to Yahoo mail yesterday, I can receive emails on my iPhone, but I cannot send.
I get a message saying that the username or password for the SMTP is incorrect. I tried changing the password to the new yahoo password, that did not work either. Can you help?Msgdiaz714 hours agoNew Contributor1.4KViews0likes12CommentsUpgraded network
Would like specifics on exactly what was upgraded. Want to know exactly what I am paying for.Fedupscott14 hours agoNew Contributor52Views0likes4CommentsYahoo Transition - where's our lower cost?
Let's be clear, Cox terminating their email service and shoving us all over to Yahoo email is NOT Cox providing us better service. Cox is not providing anything in terms of email service. Instead, Cox is providing their internet customers significantly less service by terminating Cox email. Yahoo email has always been free. Now we are subjected to Yahoo's push to pay for their Yahoo Plus service. Cox has NOT reduced our monthly costs for internet access even though they have terminated this service and no doubt have significantly reduced their own operating costs. Now that we are receiving less, why is Cox still charging us full price for Internet access? IMO, we are being ripped off.billbright15 hours agoNew Contributor224Views2likes11CommentsCOX HOTSPOT open network SID appeared on my Server
I have had a change on my network. Even though I have my Privacy settings for the Cox HotSpot option on my Panoramic Server set to DISABLE, I see the COX HotSpot unsecured Network SID showing as available on my network. (It must be hosted on my Panoramic Server .... If I power off the server, the HotSpot disappears). Has anyone else noticed a change?mdd15 hours agoNew Contributor II15Views0likes1CommentInconsistent internet for the past 4 months
I’m paying cox $200 a month for Wi-Fi that works maybe half the time? Had technicians out here three different times with next to no changes. Upgraded my modem twice bought new cables and nothing. Any time I call the only thing you guys suggest is sending a tech out and the techs tell me every time that there’s lots of tickets for work on our building that has never been touched except for when I’ve called (over 200 times in this span). The Wi-Fi shuts off constantly every day and every night it goes off for hours at a time with no explanation. On top of all that when the Wi-Fi actually works and runs within 400mbs of what I’m actually paying for there’s a daily service outage it seems. So I can’t use the Wi-Fi regularly and when I get the chance to you guys have issues on your end. I would not like a comment about “message us on twitter or send an email and schedule an appointment” ive done it more than I should’ve had to considering the amount you receive from me. I read an email string in this forum (it’s listed as being 12 months ago ) about Cox customers having problems with delays when trying to push for channel changes, pause and restart commands, and calling up and scrolling through the guide screen. I have been having this issue for a while myself now, and it seems to spread from more obscure channels (in the 100s region - which I obviously still pay for) to mainstream channels now. I also noticed that the picture quality for ‘on demand’ programs as well as the sound is often totally subpar and fraught with so many stops, and hiccups, that they are unviewable. What’s up?caube231882 days agoNew Contributor29Views0likes2CommentsPoor quality on Demand
I have noticed that when I watch a show ‘on demand’, (like BBQ Brawl on Food Network or Farmhouse Fixer on HGTV), the picture quality is zoning in and of focus. The video stops at times or doesn’t have sound. To the point where the show is unwatchable. I can’t make heads and tails of it, because my contour box is working fine otherwise, and all wires are connected. Does anybody else experience this?caube231882 days agoNew Contributor5Views0likes0Comments
