Issues with viewing PDF billing statements
Hello, I'm trying to download some of my monthly statements for expense reports. It seems as though every other statement isn't working. The ones that work have an "id" populated in the URL. I can click on the View bill (PDF) link and open them. https://www.cox.com/ibill/api/pdf-statement-details?id=poiupupohiBGOLHIGUFGIdndn The ones that don't work don't have anything in the query string for the id. When I click on the link I get the following error: "We're unable to display your PDF statement at this time. My credit card was canceled due to fraud. I quickly switched numbers on my account and my bill was paid with the correct card on time. It was not late. I was charged a $30 returned payment fee. This is nonsense. There is no returned payment fee incurred from the financial institution when a credit card is canceled or expired. This charge on my account is ridiculous. Of course if you try to talk with customer service and its not about how you want to add products or spend more money with them the call wait time is ridiculous and the live chat online conveniently doesn't work/is buggy. My home is connected through fiber, and I have my own router that I am using. Service has been good so far, but I am looking for an option. My bill is showing that I am paying $14 for Panoramic Wifi Gateway Rental, which supposedly includes the gateway, app, security perks, etc. However I never received any of that equipment (natually because I'm using my own), and the apps say my account is not active for the other things. So I called Cox - and they said that the $14 charge is simply for the ONT. Seems kinda weird to charge for a gateway rental when its not for a gateway, but whatever. First question is - am I really supposed to be paying a rental fee for the ONT device? Anyone else paying this? I am a 24 year customer and haven't generally had a problem with Cox support or retention before. I was calling because of the excessively high TV bill and wanted to know what the options are for lowering my TV bill. When I called, the agents on the main 800 number all sent me to retention. The first time I connected to retention, the retention agent did not understand the phone number I provided for my account after I gave it three times, and disconnected me. The second time the IVR hung up on me. The third time, I could barely hear the agent and the TV offers he gave was more than I am paying now. The chat agent Joshbrylle P. WAS able to help somewhat and I appreciate him. Received my bill statement today only to find it had an increased rate from every month I had paid previously. The bill explanation mentioned that it might be different and to check news from Cox or the Bill Messenger Center for details but I can’t find any explanation anywhere. I can not believe I have to come here and complain about such a popular and MUCH NEEDED WIFI SERVICE IN A TIME LIKE THIS, it will now be 2 weeks since multiple devices in my household CAN NOT connect to the internet because I paused them and then they had an outage and ever since my WIFI app does not work it says there is no devices connected but i have over 5 devices connected, soo i can not locate the devices in the app and un-pause them. 5 chat reps, 3 phone calls AND a tech to my home whom was here under 5mins and stated he would be back with a new modem 7 days later and he STILL HAS NOT MADE HIS WAY BACK this is unbelievable! If you are here looking for internet RUUUNNNN.... outages every other week during the pandemic i nearly lost my job, and reps just kept saying they are overloaded with everyone working at home in my area, Well ppl are making there way back to the office here and yet still outages are VERY often with Cox!!! Yet stilli havethe FULL financial responsibility of $200+ a month with them! IF i had another internet option TRUST ME I would leave almost three years with them now and it has been COMPLETE TRASH. If i knew how to take legal action I WOULD, because they have been robbing me of my bill for three years now for a service they have NEVER been able to maintain. Had an issue where my card got stolen, so my auto-pay failed. Got slapped with a $30 fee for a returned payment. Regular bill is $83.99/month. Pretty f'ing ridiculous to charge almost a 50% fee for returned payment. Also, it makes no sense. Let me clarify what I have 4 TV's with 4k TV streamers 1 Panoramic WIFI router (paying for 1gb speed getting 700mbps) recently upgraded 1 Homelife bundle (Joke) Only on the account to get better pricing for other services. Lame. Information to understand the billing errors below: On the monthly bill paying for 3 additional 4k TV streamers, because 1 is included in the Panoramic WIFI router monthly fee. I called customer support regarding two $125.00 charges on my bill and they said I didn't return 2 4k TV streamers. I asked why would I need to return 2 streamers. I just updated my internet speed and kept all other services the same and committed to another 12 month plan. They said I downgraded my TV service to 2 4k Tv's. Then when I looked at my bill I realized they still billed me for 2 additional 4k tv streamers (total of 3 4k tv streamers). So per their billing shouldn't I have only been charged for only 1 additional 4k tv streamer, or only one $125.00 non returned device.. It took some time for them to figure out how to correct the problem, but I'm told they are fixing it on the next bill. Until then I'm out $250.00, Thanks Cox, Moral to the story check your Cox Bill..... Been a customer forever, and this is how they treat customers.
