Re: Upstream packet loss and jitter Anyone here have the phone number for COX Corporate escalations department? Re: Upstream packet loss and jitter I have a 30-100 thread reply email to cox.help@cox.com. They are being as helpful as they can without being actual helpful if that makes sense. Faking the funk. Here is just so we can share and see how other users are being treated. strangely enough, the users have helped me out here more then actual cox employees. Appreciate all the non-cox automated replies here. Re: Upstream packet loss and jitter Cox Tech #2 - says the same thing, leak/noise on the line, he verified it was not coming from my unit or my two neighbors units. He confirmed 3 of the 5 carrier lines have leak/noise. Two techs, same thing, how do we get COX to fix now? Re: Upstream packet loss and jitter Cox Tech #1 - this is everything but the filter talk at the very end. www.youtube.com/watch Re: Is there any way to get the service i pay for? Start with an FCC complaint, make sure they know the tactics they are using against consumers. Scamming them into a $10/month fee, new modems, $75 charges etc.. Anything but troubleshoot their issues. Re: Upstream packet loss and jitter Heres a few pictures inside the box left open by the last tech. If anything stands out in there. Ive got the ring doorbell video of COX Tech #1 uploading. https://imgur.com/a/b4AOu4C Re: Upstream packet loss and jitter Starlink is full for now in my area 🙂 but the tmobile 4G is working for now. I've been an 8 year member of cox, when the service works great, but like now they are trying to pretend a problem doesn't exiss, deceptively passing costs on to the end user who is having users to buy a new modem, buy cox care, but be in the exact same boat during "their" troubleshooting. I don't think they care at all from my experience and my neighbors. They just had her buy a new modem and the problem is there. It costs too much to care. You have two customers (Im gathering more), two addresses, different devices and they are still punishing their customers instead of just looking into it it, they dont have to have an instant fix, just forward progress. but its out of our hands. My second tech visit is saturday 10-12 after my neighbors 8-10 first tech visit. Document, document, FCC&FTC complaints. I hope to help cox get a few hundred if not 1000complaints before the end of the year. We can only help whats in our control. Re: Is there any way to get the service i pay for? It seems like there are alot of users like this. COX prays on us by pitching upgraded modems and sending techs with hidden fees. I reached out to my neighbors and we are all having the same issue. Start With an FCC complaint, FTC complaint wont hurt. The could care less its costs them less to lose the customers that notice/complain then it does to fix it over all.
