Remote-MTA: dns; mx.east.cox.net. (68.1.17.3, the server for the domain cox.net.)
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 452 4.1.0 Message threshold exceeded

Can anyone tell me what is happening? Any help would be appreciated.

  • Did you ever figure out what was going on?  The same thing happened to me today.

Once Gmail takes steps to correct their servers problems with sending us too many spam emails the block will be removed.  Are you sending these messages in a group or are they individual emails to the Cox customer?

Can you provide us with email headers as well? We can investigate this further for you.
