I'm looking for a solution that does not include replacing a perfectly good smartphone. It looks like a recent update to the Cox Panoramic WiFi Application is no longer compatible with many smartphones out there, including mine of course. This post as of January 24, 2021, so I'd say the stunt happened within a few days before that date. I enjoyed the convenience of making adjustments to my home network remotely. Now that has been summarily taken away. Sorry if I don't appreciate that.
I tried the chat feature. After explaining the problem and what I did to narrow things down to compatibility with the updated version, the rep indicated she'd look for a solution for me, and then she bailed after a few minutes and no dice for me.
It is 3 years old, but running Android 6.0.1, which seems like it should not be a problem.
Yes. The reinstall didn't happen because Google Play Store does not have a version to push down compatible with my device.
When I try to open the app on my device, it hangs out there and then times out. I tried things like restarting my smart phone, restarting my wifi/cable modem, and finally uninstalling and reinstalling. There's no Panoramic app on Google Play Store that's compatible with my device anymore.

Is 6.0.1 the latest your device can update to? I think if the App store isn't showing you a app to download, you are out of luck. Thanks for at least confirming the issue for others.
