My recordings suddenly began disappearing randomly. I called tech support and the problem persists after all the resets and reboots. Tech told me the issue had not been previously reported. Based on this forum on the topic that was a lie.
For $200/mo I am entitled to a fix to this problem...not an apology...
This is also happening to me. While I do understand that I do not "own" the recordings, and for the most part I already own the Bluray of the movie, I like to keep them on the DVR so I can make playlists. I've not contacted Cox about this, but now that I see your issues, maybe I will. Wish I had an answer, but if I hear anything, I will let you know.
