Recordings stop early

Recordings stop 15 seconds to 2 minutes short of the end of the show. It is frustrating to watch 55 minutes of a show then the recording stops.

Have you set up the "autopad" function?

Settings; Preferences; General; Autopad = ON

I also usually add 3 or 5 minutes to each recording (or series) using the record options screen. It's a pitabut works.

PS - if anyone from Cox is reading this -- can you program in a PERMANENT setting for extra minutes on every recording? This was possible before the "new, improved" Contour software...

    the reason it isn't setup like that is - Let's say you have a 2 recordings DVR, and you record 2 programs at the same time, AND, one following those 2. the one following won't be recorded since it will coincide with the previous 2, that are "Padded".
