TV can't stay connected

My TV can't stay connected for more than 20 minutes any more ever.  It disconnected routinely for between 1 and 5 minutes, over and over and over.  This new box just doesn't work and it can't record live TV the way I need it to. Is there any plan to fix the problems with these useless new cable boxes?

    I apologize that you are having trouble staying connected with your cable box. Which error message are you getting on your TV when this happens?

      There is no error message.  My screen goes blank for an indeterminate period of time, usually between 1 and 5 minutes.  If I try to use the remote, it says there is a connection issue and my remote won't work right then.  Eventually, the show either resumes or I am returned to the Welcome screen and eventually to my TV show.  I have regretted every day since I got your "new" cable box.  It shuts down my TV repeatedly and routinely, and it ruined the live recording capabilities that made me stick with Cox in the first place.
