TV Sound Cuts in and out
I notice many weekend nights my cable tv sound cuts in and out. I've reset the box mutlipe times and does not fix this. All cables to the tv an box are new and tight.

I agree. Does your picture freeze at the same time the sound cuts out? That is what mine is doing.

Well whatever Cox did last fixed the sound but in the process they messed up all the Cox streaming apps! Had to sign back in to the major streamers, but a couple of the free apps cox offers are not responding. Tried Pluto TV but it just keeps loading. Oh well can't have everything I pay for I guess! Hope you sound and picture freeze is fixed.

I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Have you tried rebooting the cable box?

Cox ModeratorOf course I have rebooted a couple of times and I called a tech. Nothing. You should know by now those of us who have had numerous Cox issues know how to do all the fixes, reboot, unplug, disconnect the cables from the box and wall. Obviously the issue is generated by Cox. Didn't have this problem until they had a "maintenance" outage over night on 6/22. No service call will fix this.

There are no know issues in your area. We would recommend you schedule a technician at your soonest convenience.
