On Demand Not Available

Since very early this morning I have been unable to access anything ON Demand (TV, Movies, Premiums).
When trying to access shows the message come up "Currently Unavailable...Please check back later."
When I call or chat to get assistance or information I am told that "no outage appears on their system"...several reports have been received...we need to schedule a service call to check your equipment...check the Cox web page for updates...it should be fixed with the next 2 to 3 hours...or, keep checking On Demand to see if it is fixed.
It has been now been 7.5 hours and Cox cannot provide me any information as to when On Demand channels access will be restored.
It is hard for me to understand why Cox cannot treat its customers better or at least appear to value their customers time.
