TV feeds are now 30-40 seconds behind the streaming feeds. This has been a problem for the last few weeks (at least).

I was just curious why 30-40 seconds mattered to you. It's a group chat thing. I get that. You could have just said that when I asked you the first time. But you're probably going to be out of luck. Cable TV is only going to be as near live as the feed will provide. The delay can vary because some feeds will be more delayed than others. So, you might as well go ahead and drop cable TV if that doesn't work for you.
I'm not sure "dropping cable" is the answer here. This problem didn't exist last season or even a few weeks ago. Search this forum or social media and you'll see other people are experiencing this same issue. Thanks for your input though.
There's really no point to stay on cable if we are now even behind streaming services.
That's the only reason I mentioned dropping cable TV.
I get it, but that's just me being frustrated about a problem that shouldn't be the "normal" now.

If your delays are with Bally Sports broadcasts, the change from Fox Sports to Bally Sports earlier this year is a variable to consider. It could be a possible explanation for any increased delays in "live" TV broadcasting, as compared to last season. The number of recent Forum posts regarding issues with Bally Sports is a reason to suspect that any increased delay in their live TV broadcasts over the past few weeks might also be attributed to issues at Bally Sports.
Cox Communications has no operational control of the feeds from Bally Sports.
