Hi Prabz, it's possible that you're experiencing hard drive malfunctions, and the defective DVR needs replacement. Have you tried syncing the DVR, prior to deleting?
-Using the Cox remote press the Contour button.
-Highlight the Gear icon, then press OK to access the Settings menu.
-Highlight the Device Settings, then press OK.
-Highlight Sync DVR, then press OK twice to begin the DVR Sync.
If this does not resolve the issue, we highly recommend swapping out the receiver. Once the receiver is swapped, you will lose all DVR content, and we deeply apologize for the inconveniences caused. -Kevin M. Cox Support Forum Moderator
