Contour 2 - DVR

Upgraded to Contour 2 a few months ago after having the previous version for 1 1/2yrs. Had to replace within 2 days as stopped working. Have repetitive issues with recordings freezing and then won’t play...or doesn’t record one week (on weekly shows) that did air. It’s been reset/rebooted, no change. Happens to different channels/shows and occurring on avg, 1x per week. Is this version a lemon? Or just my machine?

  • It is possible that the equipment itself may be having issues. It is recommended that we have a technician out to the home to verify this first so that you do not swap the equipment out and lose any recordings if possible. You can always swap it at a local Cox store first if the recordings are not important and see if that may solve the issue.
