Acorn TV on Cox - Extra Charges to View Program Episodes

I subscribe to Acorn TV on Cox. I have discovered that on some Acorn TV programs, I am being asked to Buy an episode for $2.99, rather than viewing the episode for free on Acorn TV. Does anyone know why this is happening?  I contacted COX and they said the problem is on Acorn TV's end. I contacted Acorn TV and they said "Our sincerest apologies. We are unsure as to why COX would refer you back to us. We can assure you that Acorn does not charge extra for any episodes of our programs. Any additional charges would come through the company that you subscribe through." I am in a loop without any resolution. Anyone have this problem? If so, how did you resolve it? If not, do you have any suggestions? Thanks
