Why does the internet always go out in just my area!?
I’m so over the internet constantly going out in my area!! I know so many people with cox yet their service is never down! I can’t afford to have it go out constantly while working from home! Why is this company trash and they do nothing to fix it?
mine is always going down during the day for 3-5 minutes each time. They told me it was my modem so I bought a new top-of-the-line modem and I still am having disconnect issues. I called them again and they still blame my equipment..

you are able to see if your area is in an outage by logging in online at Cox.com or the Cox app. We’ve seen an increase in internet traffic as people have shifted their work and school activities home in response to coronavirus. Customers may be seeing greater impacts in their neighborhoods at certain times of the day.
