Why does the internet always go out in just my area!?

I’m so over the internet constantly going out in my area!! I know so many people with cox yet their service is never down! I can’t afford to have it go out constantly while working from home! Why is ...

mine is always going down during the day for 3-5 minutes each time.  They told me it was my modem so I bought a new top-of-the-line modem and I still am having disconnect issues.  I called them again and they still blame my equipment..
