Why does my connection drop out between 4am and 6am MST?

I have to keep reconnecting and sometimes have to reboot my modem.

It's very frustrating.

    In addition to what Bruce asked, what operating system do you have?  Check procedures can vary slightly for different Windows versions.

    Thanks everyone - they did respond to the email. It was about a splitter on the coax, which I will try to eliminate tomorrow. 

    It would be helpful to have had that email address on the help site though!!!

      Thanks for posting back.  I would have been interested to know why it only happens between 4am and 6am.  Maybe related to nightly update?  Anyway, good luck.

      Just a heads up:  Spliters are always the first thing mods and reps will toss at you.  I mean, bypassing a splitter may or may not work...but it's always their first guess.  They don't troubleshoot but just suggest "splitter."

      You never did provide what was specifically getting disconnected.
