Do Not Disturb Voice Tools Settings The Do Not Disturb feature allows you to send incoming calls directly to your voice mail. Notes: * When the feature is turned on, you may hear a brief ring prior to the call rolling over to voice mail. * Voice Mail must be turned on to use the Do Not Disturb feature. www.cox.com/.../do-not-disturb-voice-tools-settings.html Re: hot spots, can u connect more than 1 device at once? I don't know why it disconnects. We'd need more information, such as any messages or type of hotspot. Managing Secondary Users: www.cox.com/.../managing-secondary-users-in-my-account.html Re: hot spots, can u connect more than 1 device at once? A hotspot shouldn't be disconnecting you. Does your PC have other wireless networks to connect if available? Does your phone act as a local hotspot and the PC connects to it? Re: hot spots, can u connect more than 1 device at once? Per the FAQ, you're allowed multiple connections at one time. How many devices can I use at the same time with Cox Hotspots? With Cox Hotspots, three devices can be attached per user ID and ten per account at a time. www.cox.com/.../understanding-cox-hotspots.html Re: I got this email. Is it legit? Hi Member, heads up, we had to lock your account because security flagged some odd behavior. We've taken steps to protect your information and need your help to make sure this doesn't happen again: If all else fails, check if your Cox account is actually locked by logging in via a bookmark or enter cox.com in the address bar. Re: I got this email. Is it legit? Hi Member, heads up, we had to lock your account because security flagged some odd behavior. We've taken steps to protect your information and need your help to make sure this doesn't happen again: Is this a copy-and-paste of the email? Did you have to "clean it up" in the subject of your post? The first sign it's fake is the horrendous grammar. Don't click the link. If you hover your cursor over the link and look at its URL in the lower-right of your browser, it's not a Cox domain. Re: Spam Explosion I think after Cox deems an email as spam, the server will send the email to your Spam folder. Cox doesn't want a bunch of profile-specific rules on the server to not treat an email as spam. You can't fight it unless you disable your spam rule. As Mouth recommends, create a rule within the Spam folder to move the email to your inbox, if this is possible. Re: Incoming email delay Yup...I can confirm this recent delay. I sent myself one email from my client configured with Cox to my Cox account. Not only was there an hours delay to receive it, but I received the same email six times. I think the vendor likes "online" maintenance. Re: New Webmail user interface is TERRIBLE! The Refresh icon (circle arrows) is still on the page; however, if user is in some type of mode...I don't know, desktop?...it may not display. I'm not sure. Ain't too hard to find. However, again, when I click the icon with Edge, it won't rotate to indicate it's checking for new email. I haven't tried with Chrome because I'm too lazy to save my password in Chrome. Double-tapping the Inbox folder works. Re: New Webmail user interface is TERRIBLE! On the left-side of the page, if you double-tap the folder for the Inbox, this will check for new email.
